I am a student at the school that is not listed on your ambassador program page, can I still participate?

Go ahead and fill out our application form.  While we are looking for ambassadors at the schools listed we might consider student reps from other schools.

What will I get?

  • You will get a free session and pictures to post on your facebook/myspace page.
  • Marketing materials
  • Discount business cards
  • You will also be getting information on specials and discounts that will only be available through our senior reps
  • We will also provide you with 2 portfolios that you and your parents can show.  Keep in mind that those portfolios belong to Iowa Journey Photography and will have to be returned to us by March of 2010.  To keep those portfolios you will need to send us at least 6 referrals.

Who counts as a referral?

You will be credited for referrals that book a session and provide us with your business card (or use your discount code provided).  You will only be credited after successfull session with a referrals (and after their session fee was paid in full).  Referrals can be for Families, Children, Seniors, Maternity, Engagement, Weddings, Modeling or even Pet photography.

Can I keep my portfolio if I was unable to get 6 referrals?

No, however you are more than welcome to buy it at a retail price ($150).  You can also use discounts that you have earned. 

What incentives do you have for senior reps? 

  • 5% off of your portraits for each referral*, up to 60% off.
  • 8 free wallets for every referral.

       IN ADDITION FOR THOSE WHO SEND US 4 or MORE Referrals:

  • You will qualify for prizes
  • 4 Referrals – Free Summer/Fall Portfolio Update Session (or Family Session) and free 8X10 (Up to $140 value)
  • 6 Referrals – You will get to keep your senior portfolio ($150X2=$300 Value)
  • 8 Referrals – Slideshow of your senior pictures on DVD for Open House ($100 value) and 24 Invitation Cards ($40 Value)
  • 10 Referrals – Ipod Nano

What is the application process?

  1. Fill out Ambassador Application.
  2. Become our Fan on Facebook by visiting this page
  3. We will review those application and email or call you if your application has been approved.
  4. We will schedule an outdoor session (please plan to spend 2-3 hours) and send you a packet of information.
  5. We will need $100 deposit for the portfolios at the time of the session.
  6. 2 weeks after the session you should receive your portfolio, business cards and other marketing materials.
